Double-click an image to enhance the view and enable more options, e.g. save
a recorded event to disk, print a snap-shot, save as zip file, e-mail a recorded
event, etc. See Recordings, on page 26 for configuration instructions.
Alarm List The alarm list shows all alarms and other events in the server. Click on an alarm
in the list to open the event:
Click Advanced Search to search for a specific time interval or for recordings
where movement has been detected in certain areas of the camera view:

File Menu Start/Stop Server
From the File menu you can start or stop AXIS Camera Station as a background
service. This is the part of the program that gets images from the connected
cameras and stores them to hard disk.
Images are available in the main window at any time, but images are only
saved to disk when the service is running.
That the service is running is shown by a flashing green indicator in the upper
right of the window. A flashing red indicator means the service is stopped and
yellow that it is starting up.
Note that the service is automatically stopped when opening the
Administration section, and will automatically restart when this is closed.
View Menu Select the desired view from this menu, or by using the buttons to the right in
the window. Buttons for the camera view are at the top and buttons for
