Thepixelcountershowsthenumberofpixelsinanareaoftheimage.Thepixelcounterisusefulinsituationswherethereisa
requirementthattheimageisacertainsize,forexampleforobjectidentication.
Thepixelcountercanbeaccessedfrom:
•Video>VideoStream.UnderPreview,clickOpenandselecttheShowpixelcounteroptiontoenabletherectangle
intheimage.Usethemousetomoveandresizetherectangle,orenterthenumberofpixelsintheWidthandHeight
eldsandclickApply.
•TheLiveViewpageinInternetExplorerwithAXISMediaControl(AMC)inWindows.Right-clickintheimageandselect
Pixelcounter.Usethemousetomoveandresizetherectangle.

ThedefaultimagesettingscanbeconguredunderVideo>VideoStream.SelecttheImagetab.
Thefollowingsettingsareavailable:
•Resolution.Selectthedefaultresolution.
•Compression.Thecompressionlevelaffectstheimagequality,bandwidthandlesizeofsavedimages;thelowerthe
compression,thehighertheimagequalitywithhigherbandwidthrequirementsandlargerlesizes.
•Mirrorimage.Ifrequired,theimagecanbemirrored.
•Rotateimage.Ifrequired,theimagecanberotated.
•Palette.Theimagecanbecoloredbyapplyingapalette.Colorsintheimageindicatetemperaturedifferencesandcanbe
usedtoimprovevisibilityofnedetails.Thepaletteselectedhereisusedasthedefaultpalette,otherpalettescanbe
selectedontheLiveViewpage.
•Maximumframerate.Toavoidbandwidthproblems,theframerateallowedtoeachviewercanbeLimitedtoaxed
amount.Alternatively,theframeratecanbesetasUnlimited,whichmeanstheAxisproductalwaysdeliversthehighest
frameratepossibleunderthecurrentconditions.
