Installing or Creating Cover Pages
For your fax application to work properly, your system must have at least one cover
page available. This is especially true for Faxtext applications, which will not work if the
cover page (Faxtext.PCL) is missing, but it is important for fax messaging as well.
Ericsson supplies five standard cover pages—four for fax messaging and one for
Faxtext—on the OneBox DVD in the \Telephony Server\Tools\Faxcover folder.
The cover-page file used for Faxtext must be called faxtext.pcl and must be located in
the cover-page directory \Program Files\RightFax\Fcs on the fax server as shown
in Figure 2.
You can use any word processing program to create your own cover pages. Once you
have finished laying out a cover page, simply print it from the File menu, using a print
driver compatible with PCL 5, such as the LaserJet III driver. Check the Print to File
option and give the new file a name with an extension of .PCL.
To make your cover pages available to the fax server, copy them into the \Program
Files\RightFax\Fcs directory.
For more information about creating your own cover pages, refer to the RightFax
documentation.
